Most Wanted Militant Arrested in Karachi IBO Operation

The Sindh Rangers arrested a “highly wanted” terrorist in Gulistan-e-Johar during an intelligence-based operation on Thursday. The suspect was caught after careful surveillance, ensuring no harm to civilians. Authorities confirmed the arrest through an official spokesperson.

The suspect has been identified as Dost Muhammad, son of Gul Faraz Khan, and a resident of Bajaur. He was involved in a November 2020 attack on the Assistant Commissioner of Nawagai in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. During the attack, government property was set on fire and shots were fired.

A case was registered against him under serious terrorism charges with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in the Malakand Region. After the attack, he had gone into hiding and reportedly reached Karachi to evade authorities. Rangers tracked him down through intelligence reports and ongoing investigations.

Officials added that the militant was allegedly planning attacks at sensitive locations in Karachi along with his accomplices. Authorities have launched raids at multiple locations to arrest his network and prevent further threats. Security measures are being tightened across the city as a precaution.

The Sindh Rangers handed over the suspect to CTD police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for further legal proceedings. Authorities assured the public that strict action will continue against terrorists and their networks. Citizens were urged to report suspicious activities to maintain safety.
